Temperature rise of DC solenoid:
The only reason for the temperature rise of DC electromagnet is the coil temperature rise caused by copper loss. The degree depends on the current density and heat dissipation. In general, the temperature rise of DC electromagnet is less than that of AC electromagnet.
Temperature rise of AC solenoid:
The temperature rise of AC solenoid is caused by both copper loss and iron loss. It depends on the following:
1. Eddy current loss and hysteresis loss.
2. Loss caused by circulating power supply between rivets of laminated iron core.
3. Loss caused by short circuit ring.
4. Coil resistance loss caused by excitation internal resistance. In addition, it is related to the operating frequency. The higher the frequency, the longer the time of starting current, the higher the temperature rise.
When the solenoid valve can not work normally, such as the valve core is blocked and unable to move due to external force, the armature can not be absorbed to the normal position after the electromagnetic iron is electrified, the magnetic path is blocked, and the coil temperature will rise sharply, especially for AC electromagnet, it is easy to cause the coil to burn out in a short time. Therefore, attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the hydraulic system in use, so as to avoid the failure of the solenoid valve and prolong the service life.
